September Tastings
It's a bit more like September today, but what a weekend! We hope you made the most of it. We're just reaching out with a few dates you might want to pencil into your diaries, as we have a few tastings lined up for the month. Most of our tastings (there is one exception) operate on a walk-in basis, no booking is required, however, management reserves the right to refuse admission.
We'd also like to wish Paul and Peter the very best of luck as they head off on the Camino, they're doing 129km over 5 days which is no easy task. With both of them gone, what could possibly go wrong here?
Waterford Tasting, September 14th
This Thursday we will have four gems from Waterford Estate open to taste. The in-store tasting will be hosted by winemaker Mark Le Roux, who was named South African Young Winemaker of 2017 by Tim Atkin. It will take place on September 14th from 5:30pm To 7:30pm. This is a really wonderful opportunity to sample some of the wines from Waterford's diverse range.

Jackford Gin Tasting - September 15th
Kick off the weekend with 2 new premium gins from the rich dark soils of County Wexford. The labels have gained quite a cult following, and these have been flying out since we got them. Not only do they look great, they taste great too, and all their awards prove that!! Join us in-store this Friday September 15th From 4pm To 7pm when these 2 gins will be open and Aisling Boggan will be on hand to pour.

BlankBottle Tasting With Peter Walser - September 20th
2 Options Available
Join us on Wednesday the 20th for a BlankBottle tasting which will be hosted by none other than the winemaker Pieter Walser who will personally tell you the stories behind his "entertainers"!!
There are 2 tasting options available; one is a Ticketed Guided Tasting that will be held in our cellars, tickets are €20 the cost can be redeemed against any BlankBottle purchase. This takes place from 5:30pm to 6:30pm. The second will take place after and is a casual, informal tasting on the shop floor.

Catena Zapata Tasting - September 21st
Thursday week we will be tasting 4 of the most iconic wines from one of the Worlds most prestigious and highly acclaimed wineries, Catena Zapata. This in-store tasting will be hosted by Pedro San Martin, Irish export and brand manager for the winery on September 21st from 4pm To 7pm.
