International Prosecco Day 2021
It would appear this week is handing us plenty of opportunity to pop a cork. What a fantastic achievement yesterday by Kellie Harrington, we're sure some of her fans are still celebrating.
This Friday the 13th, whether it's lucky or unlucky for you also happens to be International Prosecco Day, so you don't have to wait until 5pm to pop the cork. Perfect as an apéritif, served chilled with nibbles, Prosecco has become an international favourite for fans of sparkling wines and it will add some extra pizazz to any occasion.

This eminently drinkable Prosecco is from Bepin De Eto, an internationally celebrated winery in Veneto's Feletto area, they produce award-winning sparkling wines which are packaged in beautiful black and clear, cut-glass bottles. A pale straw-yellow sparkling wine with hints of green, compellingly luminous, with a near-endless bead of the tiniest bubbles. The inviting scent is outlined on the notes of apple, pear and peach to which are added hints of rose and acacia blossom. As it’s a drier style of prosecco it's also excellent for pairing with food.
