June Case Of The Month

First of all, we'd like to wish the very best of luck to everyone sitting exams over the coming weeks, and to the parents, family members and supporters who will be cheering them on every step of the way.

"Exam Weather" may have taken a year off, but in just a week's time, we'll have a whole month of football, rivalry and drama to look forward to. With the 2026 World Cup on the horizon, we've taken inspiration from football's greatest prize for this month's Case of the Month. Every tournament needs its champions and challengers, so we've selected six wines representing both nations with World Cup glory already in their history and those still chasing their moment on the biggest stage.

Every tournament needs its champions and challengers. This month's case brings together six wines from nations with proud footballing histories, some with World Cups already in the cabinet, others dreaming of their first. The only thing left to decide is which bottle takes home the trophy.

And yes, France is absent from the line-up. That's entirely deliberate. Between Thierry Henry's infamous handball in 2009 and the fact that many Irish football fans remain remarkably unforgiving, we felt some grudges are worth preserving.
