We’re very excited to introduce something rather special; our very own Buffalo Trace Single Barrel Select, available exclusively at The Corkscrew.

Buffalo Trace has been making whiskey on its historic Kentucky site for more than 200 years and is one of the most celebrated names in American whiskey. But this bottle is a little different. Rather than being blended from a number of barrels to create the familiar Buffalo Trace style, this release comes from one individual barrel  (Barrel #214 ) selected especially for us. And because it comes from a single barrel, there are just 258 bottles. 

We were so excited when it arrived, we couldn't resist opening a bottle. As we have a bottle open on our tasting barrel, feel free to call in and try it while it lasts.

This smooth and creamy Kentucky Bourbon boasts a rich amber colour and an impressive depth of flavour, all while maintaining an exceptionally smooth character. On the nose, notes of vanilla, oak and molasses create an inviting aroma, followed by a pleasantly sweet palate. Brown sugar and baking spice combine with hints of toffee and nuts, leading to a exceptionally smooth finish with remarkable depth.
