Two Stacks × Jack Coulter The Humours of Whiskey The Artist Collection – Vol. 1 - BUY HERE

Two Stacks have created something genuinely extraordinary with the first release in their new Artist Collection, collaborating with acclaimed Belfast artist Jack Coulter on The Humours of Whiskey.

Known for his synaesthesia, experiencing sound as colour, Coulter created the original artwork while immersed in a live traditional Irish music session, translating the music, atmosphere and whiskey into the explosion of colour you see across this remarkable release.

And what’s inside the bottle is every bit as interesting as the artwork. The whiskey brings together three exceptional Irish whiskeys, including a 1991 Single Malt, a 2002 Single Grain matured in a Sicilian Passito wine cask and a 2016 Single Pot Still, bottled at a generous 50% ABV.

Just 300 bottles have been produced worldwide, with each beautifully presented bottle accompanied by a signed Jack Coulter print of the original artwork.

There’s one final twist: hidden among the 300 bottles is the opportunity for one owner to receive Coulter’s original artwork itself.

Part whiskey, part art and entirely collectible, this is a fascinating first chapter in the Two Stacks Artist Collection, and a bottle unlikely to be forgotten.

With Grenache Day coming up, we thought it was the perfect excuse to shine a little light back on our September Shift Case.

There’s a gorgeous old-vine Garnacha among the six bottles, but that’s just one reason we love this case. Designed for that in-between September weather, it moves from fresh, bright whites and lighter reds through to richer, more warming styles as the evenings start to cool.

DeMarie Roero Arneis DOCG 2023
Bright, fresh and beautifully aromatic, with lively citrus and orchard fruit alongside a delicate floral character. An elegant Piedmont white that’s perfect for squeezing the last little bit out of summer.

Villa des Croix Pinot Noir 2024
Silky, smooth and wonderfully easy-drinking, with juicy red berry fruit and a soft, supple finish. Light enough for a sunny September afternoon, but equally at home as the evenings begin to cool.

Domaine Romanesca Fleurie "La Chapelle des Bois" 2021
Elegant and fragrant, with bright red fruit, delicate florals and that lovely silky character that makes Fleurie so appealing. Light and fresh, yet with enough depth to take us gently towards autumn.

Proelio Vinedos Viejos Garnacha 2019
Ripe, generous and full of character, with juicy red and dark fruit, warming spice and lovely depth. This is where the September shift really begins, a richer red for those first cooler evenings.

Cornelio Dinastia Barrel-Fermented White 2023
Rich, creamy and beautifully textured, with ripe fruit complemented by subtle oak and a long, elegant finish. A wonderfully satisfying white that comes into its own as the temperatures start to drop.

Rich and luxurious yet beautifully balanced, with ripe fruit, creamy texture and elegant oak. A gorgeous, full-flavoured Chardonnay that feels just right for welcoming the first signs of autumn.
