Free Nationwide Delivery on Orders of €150+

We offer free nationwide delivery throughout Ireland on orders of €150 or more.

For orders under €150, our standard delivery charge is €8.95 per delivery address.

International Delivery

We deliver internationally. Shipping charges vary depending on the destination and the size and weight of your order.

Our standard rates are based on standard-sized bottles. Heavier bottles and larger presentation boxes may incur an additional shipping charge.

From clicks to bricks: buy online, pick up at the Warehouse or the Shop

You've been asking for it, so here it is. You can now buy online and pick up at the warehouse or the shop. In December Please Give 72 Hours Notice. This will save you a €8.95 on smaller purchases (less than €150).

Next Working Day Delivery

We aim to deliver orders placed before 12pm on the next working day (Monday–Friday).

While most orders are delivered within this timeframe, please allow up to 2–3 working days during busy periods, for postal deliveries, or where we are waiting for stock to arrive.

In November and December, delivery may take a little longer due to the volume of orders.

If we're out of stock?

We share the same bottles between the shelves of our shop and our website. Sometimes, but not that often, we sell out in-store before having a chance to synchronise with our website.

If you have placed an order and we find ourselves in this embarrassing scenario, we'll give you a call to explain what happened and suggest a suitable replacement or issue you with a full refund.

Online Purchases – Your Right to Withdraw

If you are a consumer purchasing from The Corkscrew online, you have a statutory right to withdraw from an eligible purchase without giving a reason.

The withdrawal period expires 14 days after the day on which you, or a person nominated by you, receives the goods. If your order is delivered in separate deliveries, the period runs from the day you receive the final goods.

If you exercise your right to withdraw after the goods have been dispatched or delivered, the goods must be returned to us. Unless otherwise required by law, you are responsible for the direct cost of returning the goods.

How to Request a Cancellation or Return

You can submit a cancellation or return request through your Customer Account. Click the account icon at the top of our website, sign in and select the relevant order.

You can also contact us at sales@thecorkscrew.ie or on 01 674 5731. Please have your name and order number available so that we can identify your purchase.

If your order has already been dispatched or delivered, exercising your right to withdraw does not mean that you can keep the goods. They must be returned to us.

Returning Your Order

Once you have notified us that you wish to withdraw, the goods must be returned without undue delay and no later than 14 days after notifying us.

Unless otherwise required by law, you are responsible for the direct cost of returning the goods.

Please take reasonable care of the goods while they are in your possession. You may be responsible for any reduction in value resulting from handling beyond what is necessary to establish the nature and characteristics of the goods.

We may withhold reimbursement until we have received the goods back, or until you provide evidence that they have been returned, whichever occurs first.

Damaged, Faulty or Incorrect Goods

If your order arrives damaged, faulty or is not what you ordered, please contact us as soon as possible and we'll be happy to help.

Your statutory rights in relation to faulty, damaged or incorrectly supplied goods are separate from your right to withdraw from an online purchase and are not affected by this policy.
