As the road to the 2026 World Cup gathers pace, we've selected six wines representing both football's established champions and the nations hoping to join them for our June Case Of The Month.
Every tournament needs its champions and challengers.
This month's case brings together six wines from nations with proud footballing histories, some with World Cups already in the cabinet, others dreaming of their first. The only thing left to decide is which bottle takes home the trophy.
And yes, France is absent from the line-up. That's entirely deliberate. Between Thierry Henry's infamous handball in 2009 and the fact that many Irish football fans remain remarkably unforgiving, we felt some grudges are worth preserving..
