Rombauer Vineyards produced their first Chardonnay with the 1982 vintage, but it wasn’t until 1990 that the Rombauer family made their first Chardonnay from the Carneros region, where the San Pablo Bay meets the southern end of Napa and Sonoma valleys. The cool climate and soils of this region provide ideal conditions for this quinessential Carneros Chardonnay with the Rombauer hallmarks of intense fruit flavors balanced by fresh acidity.Expressive and fruity white wine with aromas of ripe peach, citrus fruit, spice and pastry on the nose. On the palate the wine is concentrated, with refreshing acidity, juicy flavours of apricot, citrus and vanilla, as well as rich and creamy mouthfeel and a long finish.
Some terrific pairings for this wine include Tuna-Avocado Burgers, Lobster Rolls and Fettuccine with Salmon and Asparagus.ABV 14.5%

Established in 1980 by Koerner and Joan Rombauer, it is a family-owned winery based in Napa Valley. Passion, sustainability and great hospitality are at the forefront of their wine philosophy, and they produce a multitude of award-winning wines. Most notably, Rombauer Carneros Chardonnay, a defining style that has been on the Wine Spectator’s Top 100 wines multiple times.
Wines are still hand-harvested to preserve the highest quality, all vineyards are certified sustainable and the wines are distinctive, fruit-driven expressions of the land. They aim to produce wines that are approachable yet cellar-worthy.
