Introduced to California during the Gold Rush, Zinfandel is considered by many to
be America’s heritage grape. This Zinfandel is our tribute to California wine history;
its fruit was sourced from family-owned vineyards, all located in the state’s oldest
and most revered wine regions some of which are over 100 years old.Fresh notes of cherry and red plum on the nose with hints of vanilla, cinnamon, and lavender. Plum flavours continue to the palate, joined by layers of raspberry jam, mocha, clove, and white pepper. The mid-palate is soft and creamy, framed by fine tannins and ending with a long, lush finish that will leave you wanting another sip. Delicious with Braised Short Ribs Lasagna, Bolognese, and Pan Roasted Rack of Lamb.ABV 15.9%

Established in 1980 by Koerner and Joan Rombauer, it is a family owned winery based in Napa Valley. Passion, sustainability and great hospitality are at the forefront of their wine philosophy, and they produce a multitude of award winning wines. Most notably Rombauer Carneros Chardonnay, a defining style that has been on the Wine Spectator’s Top 100 wines multiple times.
Wines are still hand harvested to preserve the highest quality, all vineyards are certified sustainable and the wines are distinctive, fruit driven expressions of the land. They aim to produce wines that are approachable yet cellar worthy.
