This bottle comes from a distillery that's stands proud as Northern Ireland’s first award-winning craft distillery and it is Ireland’s Most Awarded Gin.
Shortcross is a classical gin style with a uniquetwist; best described as floral meadow, wild berries and grassy notes. It is a smooth gin with an exceptionally long finish. Apples, elderberries, elderflowers and wild clover are distilled with, juniper, coriander, orange and lemon to make this gin.

Details

The name ‘Shortcross Gin’ originates from the Distillery’s local village, Crossgar. In Gaelic or Irish, Crossgar means the ‘Short Cross’, the owners are proud to have their village name as well as a Shortcross Penny on every bottle theye produce.

When creating Shortcross Gin they aspired to create something unique, that was reminiscent of their surrounding forests and gardens at their home in Rademon Estate.
