And in equally good news, we’re delighted to announce our very first wine tasting of 2026, along with our first wine course in quite some time. A great way to kick off the year — whether you’re looking to learn something new, taste something special, or simply enjoy a great evening of wine.
Wine Decoded is a four-week wine course for curious wine lovers who want to deepen their understanding of wine through guided tasting, learning, and discussion.
Across four engaging sessions, you’ll explore how climate, grape varieties, and winemaking choices influence wine style - and develop the confidence to taste, discuss, and choose wine more thoughtfully.
Course Details
* 4 weeks · 2 hours per week
* Every Thursday (March 5th, 12th, 19th, 26th) from 6pm to 8pm
* 6 wines tasted per week
* €295 per person
* Small-group, guided learning and tastings
* A set of 6 ISO tasting glasses and hand-out materials will be provided

* No previous wine knowledge is required — just curiosity and a willingness to explore.

Course Outline
Week 1 – Why Wine Tastes the Way It Does
Explore how climate, grape growing, and tasting techniques influence wine style, with practical insights into food pairing, storage, and service.
Week 2 – From Grape to Glass
Learn how white, red, and rosé wines are made, and how winemaking decisions shape flavour and texture. Meet the world’s most important grape varieties and wine-producing countries.
Week 3 – Grapes & Regions in Practice
Develop tasting confidence through comparison. Explore classic and emerging grape varieties, key regions, and how place and reputation influence wine style and price.
Week 4 – Sparkling, Fortified & Curious Wines
Discover how sparkling wines are made, explore Port and Sherry, and taste alternative styles.
