We hope everyone enjoyed a well-earned long weekend. As the pace picks up again, we’re already looking forward to next weekend, and to Ireland’s much-anticipated rematch. We've just had some new arrivals which couldn't have arrived at a better time, and they are the perfect way to toast the action.

Black Emerald was founded by a publican (Ernest Cantillon), a rugby player (Simon Zebo) and a whiskey nomad (Finian Sedgwick). This seven-year-old single grain Irish whiskey, finished in rum casks, reflects a bright vision, both enticing and full of energy. It opens with oak, toasted coconut and tropical notes. The palate is rich and vibrant, with hints of milk chocolate and citrus. The finish is oily, moreish, and unmistakably Black Emerald – banana and coconut linger long after the last sip.

This 15-year-old single grain Irish whiskey, finished in cognac casks, reflects a mindset – surprising, complex and full of character. The palate opens rich with vanilla bean, cherry sweetness and burnt caramel. Layers of deep spice, dark chocolate and dried fruits follow. The finish is long, warming, and unmistakably Black Emerald.

Dates For Your Diary

Thursday October 30th 5pm To 7pm - Join us around the barrel where we will be trying some neat pours of Ghost Tequila. This tequila crafted for those who like their spirits hot, bold, and hauntingly good. We will also have tastes of it in a Spicy Blood Orange Margarita.

Friday October 31st 3pm To 6pm - Step into the spirit and sip, savour and discover some neat pours spanning across Two Shores award-winning Irish Rum range. Founder Jason Kidd will host this special tasting where you can hear the Two Shores story first hand.

No booking is required for these events, however management reserves the right to refuse admission.
