Verdeal is a project started in 2007 by Eduardo Poza, an entrepreneur dedicated for years to his family's agricultural business. This Verdejo is 100% Barrel Fermented.WINEMAKER TASTING NOTESOn The Eye: Very attractive colour, straw yellow hue of high intensity, with deep green highlights. Very bright.
On The Nose: High intensity, fresh fruit (green apple) first sensations and stone fruit (peach), clear nuances of white flower, which give way to balsamic tones (eucalyptus, aromatic plants of the forest and fennel), all in harmony with soft wood aromas, which add complexity with spicy and mineral tones.
On The Palate: Intense, fresh, tasty, freshness, friendly warmth, and a pleasantly bitter finish. Structured wine with a complex and very glyceric finish. Very long stay in the mouth, where the retronasal reminds us the balsamic and toasted aromas of the noble wood back.ABV 13.5%

In 2007 Eduardo Poza , a young entrepreneur and lover of the Verdejo variety, began to develop the ambitious project of recovering the identity of the Verdejo variety, under a modern brand "VERDEAL". For this he blindly bets on the Rueda denomination of origin, looking for that own DNA, that varietal identity.
