This Chablis 'Vieilles Vignes' made with fruit from very old vines that get their nutrients very deep in the soil. This gives the wine a noticeably salty character. Light floral notes, citrus and stone fruit on the nose. The attack is wonderfully fresh on the palate, followed by subtle fruit. From aftertaste is long in complex.

Very beautiful pale gold colour with soft green reflections
The nose is intense and precise. It expresses aromas of apricots and lemon. Slightly smoky and floral finish.
The mouth is precise and salivating. It is built on a clear, mineral structure of great length. Balanced and concentrated finish.ABV 12.5%

Chablis 1er Montmains is a 1er Cru from the left bank. The name of this climate evokes “the middle mountain”, the one which is at an intermediate altitude between two higher coasts.
The orientation is south-east, the slopes can reach 20%. The soils are quite superficial and the Kimmeridgian limestone soon appears. The soils are stony and well draining.
In this open and well-ventilated valley, our 80-year-old old vines give their full expression.
