Tesseron Cognac specializes in high-end Cognac, producing "XO and beyond" blends from their ancestral home in Chateauneuf-sur-Charente. Founder Abel Tesseron conserved his stocks of eaux-de-vie in a 12th-century crypt, selling them to larger Cognac houses. In 2003, the fourth generation of Tesserons launched the iconic brand Tesseron Cognac. They also own Chateau Pontet-Canet, a renowned Pauillac classified property producing Grand Cru Classé Bordeaux Wine.
