SATURDAY JUNE 25TH - Dog Point Winemakers Dinner With Jak Nash

Join us for a very special event on Saturday June 25th. Winemaker Jak Nash from the seriously admirable Dog Point Winery is hosting a dinner where he will show some outstanding, top-quality wines from one of the earliest private vineyards established in Marlborough.
Four wines are produced at Dog Point Vineyard - a sauvignon blanc typical of the Marlborough style, ‘Section 94’, a barrel-fermented Sauvignon Blanc, a Chardonnay and a Pinot Noir. This relaxed and insightful evening will take place in the luxury surrounds of Dublin’s most recently opened, authentic Italian restaurant, Amuri. This is a very rare opportunity to meet a winemaker and to experience a range of 4 delicious creations accompanied by a superb array of New Zealand wines.

The Wines On The Night Are

- Dog Point Vineyard Sauvignon Blanc
A citrus-driven style of Sauvignon Blanc. Complimentary flinty and smoky notes in the background provide a complex balance to the primary fruit.

- Dog Point Vineyard "Section 94" Sauvignon Blanc
A fuller-bodied, textural style of Sauvignon Blanc. A wine that can be enjoyed now but also ages well while retaining its freshness.

- Dog Point Vineyard Chardonnay
A citrus driven Chardonnay with complex flinty, toasty biscuit notes derived from extended barrel ageing on full solids.

- Dog Point Vineyard Pinot Noir
Bright, lifted, red fruit-driven with Marlborough’s hallmark spiciness complemented by dried herb, smokey and meaty notes in the background.
