  1. Château Musar Jeune Red 2014

    Château Musar Jeune Red 2014

    €24.95

No oak used here for the Jeune which is old vine Cinsault with some young vine Syrah and Cabernet. A spicy, savoury, smoky red with great fruit and friendly tannins, a great introduction to the Musar stable, produced since 2006 but the first time we've seen it in Ireland. Learn More
  2. Quinta do Vale Meao Meandro Douro 2014

Quinta do Vale Meao Meandro Douro 2014

    €24.95

We seem to keep saying this, but probably the best Meandro yet. Its getting harder and harder to think of this as a 'second' wine. Trademark super-fine grained tannins provide the frame for layers and layers of dusty-rich fruit. Learn More
  3. Chaffey Bros. Barossa GSM 2015

    Chaffey Bros. Barossa GSM 2015

    €24.95

This is definitely a Grenache-driven GSM! Subtle toasty oak and caramel lead to a deep-fruited, dark cherry and strawberry palate with hints of aniseed and turkish delight. Gentle refreshing acidity gives great line and drives the brooding and delicious fruit through to a lingering finish.

The majority of the Grenache is from an old cool Williamstown vineyard on the border of the Adelaide Hills. Blended with Grenache from a special Krondorf Road vineyard. Early harvest Syrah is from a 69 year old Ebenezer vineyard and from the Heinrich vineyard in the Lyndoch foothills, which unites with the lovely blue-fruit characters of Syrah from a small Northern Eden Valley vineyard on the outskirts of Angaston. The remaining 4% is a selected barrel of powerful spicy Mourvèdre. Learn More
  4. Altos las Hormigas Valle de Uco "Terroir" Malbec 2015

Altos las Hormigas Valle de Uco "Terroir" Malbec 2015

    €25.95

Opaque black in colour, with flashes of violet and an ethereal, highly complex nose with notes of red and black fruits, spices, smoke, forest groves and sweet, fresh wood. The palate has excellent breadth and depth of juicy fruit. The acidity is fresh and the tannins are firm but fine-textured, supporting the berry flavours well on the long, elegant finish. Learn More
  5. Kir Yianni Ramnista Xinomavro 2013

    Kir Yianni Ramnista Xinomavro 2013

    €25.95

Aromas of ripe strawberry, cherry and black pepper, along with varietal and barrel-aging notes of liquorice and ginger, robust tannins offering a firm structure and a lingering, fruity finish compose the typical expression of a Xinomavro harvested in an outstanding year. Learn More
  6. Predator Lodi Old Vine Zinfandel

    Predator Lodi Old Vine Zinfandel

    €26.95

Aromas of chocolate espresso bean, smoked bacon, and baked berries with a silky, fruity-yet-dry medium-to-full body and a juicy, seamless raspberry, cherry, mocha, and spice driven finish. Wonderfully flavourful and rich with a great meaty character. Learn More
  7. Niepoort Vertente Douro 2015

    Niepoort Vertente Douro 2015

    €26.95

In 2015, Vertente has a pretty ruby red colour, of medium concentration. A very fresh aroma and good complexity, marked by a mineral profile. Notes of black fruit, dark chocolate and spices. Very elegant on the palate with a good structure, without being heavy. Fine and well integrated tannins, it is a wine full of youth, with good acidity and fresh fruit. A long and elegant finish. Ideal to be drunk now, but thanks to its balance, it will have a long life in the bottle. Learn More
  8. Condado de Haza Crianza Ribera del Duero 2014

Condado de Haza Crianza Ribera del Duero 2014

    €26.95

Aged in American oak barrels for 18 months with a further 6 months in bottle, the wine has a nose of redcurrant and rose petals petals and the mouthfeel is full, flavoursome and powerful with black fruit notes predominant Learn More
  9. Salwey Spatburgunder Kasleberg 2014

    Salwey Spatburgunder Kasleberg 2014

    €26.95

On the nose this Pinot Noir hints at new wood, ripe juicy strawberries and lovely plump plum. These fruit characteristics carry through on the palate where there is also plenty of depth and weight with the Pinot's wonderfully ripe tannins Learn More
  10. Bodegas Emilio Moro 2015

    Bodegas Emilio Moro 2015

    €27.95

Emilio Moro is the flagship bottling from the Bodega. It is produced from 100% Tinto Fino from vines ranging from 15-25 years of age. It undergoes a 28-day skin maceration followed by 12 months of ageing in French and American barrels. This is a classic example of Ribera del Duero and an excellent value. Learn More
