Majestic - Rare Millésime 1985

A poor harvest and lots of adversity have created Rare Millésime 1985, a solar wine. Its amazing structure flourishes year after year.

WEATHER: AN EXCEPTIONAL DROUGHT
A freezing winter, followed by a black frost and bleak summer, produced a poor harvest but a vintage with a strong personality.

TO THE EYE: INTENSE GOLD
A deep golden effervescence.

ON THE NOSE: A RICH, VELVETY AND SPICY BOUQUET Mineral tones combine with the autumnal harmonies of dry fruits and toasted aromas, unveiling a great wine.

ON THE PALATE: INTENSE, SPICY AND GENEROUS
The subtle notes of candied fruits, the intense accents of truffle and Armagnac, enhanced by floral harmonies give a brilliant energy and spectacular finish to this impressive vintage. Thanks to its remarkable structure, it will continue to improve over the years while keeping its vivacity.

Prima Vera - Rare Millésime 2015

WEATHER: AN EXCEPTIONAL DROUGHT
After an extremely cold and rainy autumn, winter was quite mild with very few frosts. April started as chaotic, with drought settling in from mid-May, persisting until mid -August revealing an unprecedented period of 10 weeks with a very small amount of rain.

TO THE EYE: PALE GOLD WITH PERIDOT REFLECTIONS
Rare Millésime 2015 features a pale golden colour, with luminous shades of emerald. Its bubbles are elegant and lively.

ON THE NOSE: EXOTIC AND SPICY
The first nose suggests aromas of lime, exotic fruits such as passion fruit and kiwi. After a hint of pastry notes, the nose develops aromas of cardamon, green tea, as well as pistachio and toasted almond.

ON THE PALATE: RICH AND LIVELY
Rare Millésime 2015 is very fresh and lively, on the palate. Rich flavours of fresh almond emerge, as well as smoky, coffee and green tea flavours. The texture is silky and voluptuous. The exceptional finish demonstrates notes of pomelo, spicy notes with peppermint and a hint of minerality.
