Crafted in small batches in Oaxaca, Mexico, ILEGAL Mezcal Joven is an unaged artisanal mezcal made from 100% sustainably harvested Espadín agave. Bottled at 70cl, this joven, meaning young expression captures the raw essence of traditional mezcal, offering a bold and smoky character that is both approachable and complex.
On the nose, expect notes of roasted agave, earth, and a whisper of citrus. The palate reveals a smooth, well-balanced blend of smoke, green pepper, and subtle herbal tones, leading to a clean, lingering finish. Free of additives and handcrafted using ancestral methods, ILEGAL Joven is ideal for sipping neat or elevating premium cocktails.
