Domaine Dujac Fils et Père Gevrey Chambertin 2017
Product Description
DUJAC SON & FATHER TRADING
In 2000 a new line, Dujac Fils & Père, was set up in order to create more accessible wines with an emphasis on fruit. They maintain the same quality standards for these wines as for those of the Estate and the wine-making process is conducted with the same care.
They decided to work within the areas close to the winery as this is the terroir that they know well and to have a real familiarity with the vineyards from which we buy fruit. As much as possible, they endeavour to work with the same grape growers and the same parcels from one year to the next with a long-term vision to guarantee the quality of the work over the course of time.
They harvest the grapes that they buy themselves, thus allowing them to choose the date of the harvest and when necessary, to do a precise sorting of the fruit.
These wines are generally ready to drink a bit earlier than the wines from the Domaine.
