Château Pontet-Canet is one of the historic classified estates of Pauillac, situated opposite Château Mouton Rothschild. Its story dates to the early 18th century, and today the estate is particularly renowned for its distinctive approach to viticulture. Under the Tesseron family, Pontet-Canet became a pioneer of organic and biodynamic farming among Bordeaux's classified growths, with meticulous vineyard work at the heart of its philosophy. The result is a style of Pauillac that combines depth and structure with purity, freshness and a strong expression of its terroir.
