Château Grand-Puy-Lacoste is one of Pauillac's historic estates, with roots stretching back centuries. Classified as a Fifth Growth in the 1855 Bordeaux Classification, the property has been owned by the Borie family since 1978, when Jean-Eugène Borie acquired it and entrusted its management to his son François-Xavier. The family has spent decades carefully modernising the estate while maintaining its traditional character, building a reputation for elegant, Cabernet-driven Pauillac with exceptional ageing potential. The next generation of the Borie family is now involved in the estate.
