We’re thrilled to announce a brand-new tasting — and to introduce our new host. Vera Ivashchenko is a Wine Scholar and Educator whose expertise is grounded in over 15 years of experience in marketing and storytelling. She holds WSET Level 3 (with Merit) and is currently pursuing the WSET Diploma.
Her wine journey has taken her across vineyards and cellars, meeting winemakers who inspire her to see wine not only as a craft rooted in centuries of history, but also as a field alive with innovation and surprise. Vera thrives on this balance: honouring the classics while embracing the new. For her, wine is never static — each bottle tells a story, and every tasting is a chance to discover something unexpected.
On Saturday, October 4th, join Vera for a guided journey through six sparkling wines, each crafted in a distinct style. Bubbles come in many forms — from the gentle sparkle of Moscato to the refined elegance of Champagne — and this tasting celebrates that diversity in a sparkling showcase we’re calling “50 Shades of Bubbles – A Sparkling Wine Adventure.”
You’ll explore the light sweetness of Moscato d’Asti, the freshness of Prosecco, the surprise of Lambrusco, the precision of German Sekt, the finesse of South Africa’s Cap Classique, and the depth of Champagne.
This tasting is designed to highlight the incredible range of sparkling wines available today and to give you the tools to appreciate how different grapes, methods, and regions shape what’s in your glass.
