Proelio is a Riojan winery dedicated to showcasing red wines that express privileged territories. A commitment to preserve the old vineyard and at altitude from different areas of Rioja. The plots that make up the soul of Proelio, “battle” in Latin, are small pieces of land that remain standing in their fight against extinction: Garnachas, Tempranillos or Gracianos from old and wise vines, which bear fruit capable of making wines. alive, expressive and long-lived.
At Proelio, they seek to produce wines with typicality, from privileged territories little explored. After a meticulous study, they adapt each agricultural work to what each plot requires. They are own high-end vineyards located at altitude, fresh sites of old vines that are worked with care to achieve inimitable wines, but at the same time, that speak of this Rioja.
A raw material that is a true treasure, and as such it is treated in the winery to make the wines. Riojas loaded with a typicity that marks Nature and man interprets.
