Champagne Deutz, one of the founding members of the Assocation des Grand Marques was established in 1838 by William Deutz and Pierre-Hubert Geldermann. The house is based in Aÿ, the cru of oldest renown in the Champagne wine-growing region. Apart from extensive highly rated vineyards owned by the house itself, the present ownership, the Louis Roederer Group, is strengthening the company’s relations with vignerons in the best crus, ensuring that all of them constantly adhere to the viticultural practices that make a crucial contribution to the house style. Fabrice Rosset is the elegant PDG who oversees this lovely house and its sister house, Delas Frères in the Rhône Valley.
