Vieira de Sousa - Five Generations of the Douro

Family-owned for five generations, Vieira de Sousa is a wonderful small producer with deep roots in Portugal’s Douro Valley. Today led by sisters Luísa and Maria Vieira de Sousa, the family continues to combine traditional methods – including hand harvesting and foot-treading in granite lagares – with generations of experience producing beautifully expressive Ports.

Our selection takes you through some of the best of what they do, from 10, 20, 30, 40 and 50 Year Old Tawnies, to Late Bottled Vintage and Vintage Ports, along with the very limited Cask XXI. With everything from wonderfully approachable bottles to serious cellar-worthy Ports and beautifully presented gifts, there’s something here for both the Port lover and anyone looking for a very special present.
