The latest edition of the celebrated Iberian Series from Redbreast, the Moscatel Wine Cask Edition is a limited-release Single Pot Still Irish Whiskey that explores the elegant influence of southern Spanish wine casks.
Triple distilled and initially matured in a combination of bourbon barrels and Oloroso sherry casks, the whiskey is then finished in Moscatel wine casks sourced from Málaga, Spain. This final maturation imparts a beautifully aromatic and naturally sweet character, enhancing Redbreast’s signature rich and creamy pot still style.
Expect fragrant floral notes layered with honeyed sweetness, fresh citrus brightness, and indulgent touches of toffee and honeycomb — a vibrant, refined expression that showcases the harmony between Irish whiskey craftsmanship and Iberian wine tradition.
