As with the Godello, this comes from the Estévez family's vineyards around Valtuille de Abajo, where their connection to the land stretches back generations. Their focus is on old vineyards and relatively gentle winemaking, allowing the character of Valtuille to show rather than overwhelming the fruit with oak. Winemaker César Márquez works with a minimal-intervention approach and is part of the new generation helping to shape modern Bierzo.
