Although Beaujolais Nouveau commemorates the first wine of that year’s harvest, the recognition of Beaujolais as a region of fine and age worthy wines has deservedly gained attention in recent years. After all, there was once a time when vineyards in Moulin-à-Vent commanded a higher price than those in Grand Cru ‘Clos de Tart’ .
