Intense, deep, black cherry red in colour, with bright red cherry hues in the rim, this vintage reveals a pure, delineated, clean wine with fine acidity on the palate and develops a deep Rioja character as the wine opens up in the glass, showing great balance between the oak and the fruit, in particular black plums, with some dark chocolate and sweet spices on the background. It finishes long, with some well-rounded tannins. Very elegant and fine.
