J.Cabral Almeida is a wine company founded by Joáo Cabral De Almeida, a young winemaker from Portugal working mainly in the North of Portugal in the regions of Vinho Verde, Douro and Dáo. Wine has always been in his blood, as his grandparents were producers and his older brother was also a winemaker. Perhaps, even before he knew it, his destiny as an oenologist and wine producer had already been mapped out for him.
The concept of the wines is to demonstrate the potential of the different grape varieties in different terroirs. His wines are produced using a philosophy of minimal wine-making intervention to help reflect the authenticity of each grape variety and terroir.
