Von Winning Forster Ungeheuer Riesling 2015

    €49.95

This single vineyard wine from Von Winning is one of the great wines of their estate. Voted the tenth best Riesling in Germany, it is simply sensational. A mineral purity with racy acidity, fruit intensity and a long, powerful, textured finish that is more salty than sweet, makes you want more and more and more... Learn More
  2. Malhadinha Branco 2015

    Malhadinha Branco 2015

    €49.95

Malhadinha white 2015 presents himself with a lemon-yellow colour. On the nose, stand out the fruity aromas with citrus, apricot and peach notes. In the mouth it shows a buttery taste with great
volume resulting from oak fermentation. In the end, round smooth and creamy with some acidity that
allows it to show well balanced.

  3. As Sortes by Rafael Palacios 2015

As Sortes by Rafael Palacios 2015

    €53.95

This is clearly the most wonderful vintage of a great wine. Fantastic length and balance even if still very youthful. Racy and hugely precise. A beautiful wine that should unfurl gracefully over many years. (18.5/20 points from Jancis Robinson in Feb. 2013) Learn More

Champagne Drappier Quattuour Blanc de Blancs

    €84.95

Aromas of very fresh grapes and citrus fruits evolving towards notes of honeyed apples and fig jam, borne by a bouquet of white flowers. On the palate, a Champagne with great freshness, mineral and chiselled, and a very persistent finish. Learn More
  6. Chateau Gloria 2011

    Chateau Gloria 2011

    €89.95

    Wine Spectator 90 Points

Mouthfilling, offering a fleshy, briary feel to the plum sauce, steeped currant and blackberry notes, with extra anise, tar and fruitcake details pumping through the finish. Lacks a little refinement in terms of structure, but this offers solid range and depth. Best from 2016 through 2024. Tasted twice, with consistent notes Learn More
  7. Isole e Olena Cepparello 2014

    Isole e Olena Cepparello 2014

Bright and clear ruby red. The enticing nose shows rich aromas of red fruits and cherries along with a touch of spice from the well judged use of oak. 9. Bollinger La Grande Année Champage 2007

Bollinger La Grande Année Champage 2007

    €127.95

A rich lemon colour in the glass, the fermentation of the base wine in oak and a long period of maturation in bottle is immediately evident in the colour of this 2005 Bollinger “La Grande Annee”. Whilst the aromas of this Champagne are not particularly pronounced, there is a persistent chalkiness, enlivened by wild flowers and apple aromas. A somewhat reticent toastiness and brioche sweetness appears slowly with a hint of ginger.

Gorgeously rich and luxuriously creamy on the palate, this 2005 Bollinger “La Grande Annee” retains balance by offsetting the richer peach, brioche and toasted notes by including the acidity and flavour of a red apple’s flesh and that persistent chalky minerality. There is certainly power here, but nuance too and few vintage Champagnes offer length greater length than this 2005 Bollinger “La Grande Annee”. Learn More
  10. Chateau Langoa Barton St. Julien 2010

Chateau Langoa Barton St. Julien 2010

    €135.00

Exceptionally fragrant this year, this Ch. Langoa Barton wine displays enticing aromas of both red and black fruits. The fruit continues strongly on the palate, but the wine retains a very fine elegance, while the tannins and acidity imbue it with an excellent structure, and there is excellent persistence and length on the finish. I usually find that I prefer Léoville-Barton to Langoa Barton at this early stage but this is an exceptionally fine Langoa; it may well be in the lead for now.
