Malbec is one of the world’s most versatile wines. Malbec's lush ripe fruit, distinct spiciness and velvety texture make this varietal hugely appealing. It is much more than just a wine. It is elegant, versatile and incredibly diverse, each bottle expressing the characteristics of terroir and region. This case is designed to showcase the grape's versatility and contains 6 of our most popular bottles.

We have 3 different styles of this magnificent grape variety from Argentina, the Country most people associate as the home of Malbec. They include the most classic and ripe version, a fresh and elegant style and a rich and complex blend of Malbec and Cabernet Sauvignon . We have also included a classic French style - Cahors, a phenomenal aged Malbec from La Mancha in Southern Spain and a biodynamic Malbec blend from Australia.

The Wines In This Case Are

Pascual Toso, Selected Vines, Mendoza, Argentina 2020
The most classic and ripe style from one of the best-growing areas in Mendoza.Unctuous but delicate. An elegant, intensely fruity and long finish is the right balance between the natural expression of the grapes and the ageing in oak barrels.

Cullen Red Moon, Margaret River, Australia 2020
A biodynamic, vegan blend for Australia. The palate has a very attractive blend of juicy dark cherry, blueberry and hints of spice. Fine-grained tannins back well-balanced acidity on the long savoury finish.

Alta Uco, Edad Moderna, Valle de Uco, Argentina 2020
A fresh and elegant style from Argentina. The first aromatic expression of this red reveals it as a land wine, with elegant aromas reminiscent of herbs and wet mud, and notes of thyme, red and black fruits, and some jam. Its entry into the mouth is frank, clean, fresh and direct; round but at the same time with nerve. Fine tannins, medium to wide mouth and acidity that makes it a true gastronomic wine. A red wine that invites you to pour yourself another glass.

Clos de Gamot Cahors, Southwest, France 2020
A classic French style which is Cahors. This pale 100% Malbec is beautifully expressive of its terroir. Red cherries, leafy tea, wild herbs, pepper and liquorice, a garrigue-style Cahors with gentle Burgundian extraction.

Zorzal, Field Blend, Tupungato, Argentina 2018
A rich and complex blend of 40% Malbec and 60% Cabernet Sauvignon that are co-fermented and raised in used casks for between 18 and 20 months. It has an expressive bouquet of red fruits and notes of red peppers: subtlety and elegant, with a hint of vanilla and coconut. The wine has great structure and volume, a silken body with textured tannins: the acidity adds great freshness, making this a very direct wine.
