€16.95The nose, although deeply set at this stage, seeps gravel, black truffle, damp soil and pure dark fruits. The mouth-feel is intense, compact, fresh and balanced. Domaine des Homs Paul Minervois 2011
€16.95Domaine des Homs did not mature the wines in oak barrels but in stainless steel vats. The resulting red wine bursts with varietal characteristics such as black fruit and peppery spices. My note: Delicious, mouth-watering and full-bodied red with notes of black fruit. Learn More -

Domaine Alary Cairanne 'la Brunote' Cote du Rhone Villages 2009
€20.95Out of stock
The outstanding 2009 Cotes du Rhone-Villages Cairanne La Brunote (60% Grenache, 30% Mourvedre and 10% Carignan from white clay soils) was aged 12 months in larger wood demi-muids before being bottled unfiltered. Revealing slightly more concentrated blue, red and black fruits, lavender, incense and white chocolate notes, it offers an opaque ruby/purple color along with full body and a long finish. There is not a hard edge to be found in this voluminous, multilayered red. It should drink nicely for 5-7 years. 91 Wine Advocate Learn More -
La Rosine Syrah, Vin de Pays, Domaine Michel et Stéphane Ogier 2009
€24.95Out of stock
This wine, according to Stéphane, is his ‘Cheval de Bataille’ (war horse) – the one he produces in the greatest volume and therefore the one that needs to hit the spot time and time again. It does. This is the epitome of what he is trying to achieve – made from 100% Syrah it is tremendously elegant, displaying flavours of cassis, raspberries and black pepper. It has a silkiness and texture than is reminiscent of a Burgundy Pinot Noir. Learn More
