The vines behind this Chardonnay grow in two complementary locations. The first, smallest component is from ocean-facing Stellenbosch-Helderberg vineyards, while the second is from the Robertson Valley. Each component brings a complementary and entirely different facet to the eventual blend. The Stellenbosch fruit has more depth, weight and flavour concentration, while the Robertson grapes are grown on limestone soils, which inject citrus zing, freshness and minerality into the wine.
