Since 1999, Quinta do Perdigao has produced one of the most prized wines in the Dão region, both nationally and internationally.
Production is small, on only 7 hectares of vineyard, with organic certification.
The vineyard has a dense planting of about 5,000 vines per hectare and produces very small quantities of very high quality wine from red grapes Touriga-Nacional, Alfrocheiro-Preto, Tinta-Roriz / Aragonês (Tempranillo) and Jaen (Tinta Mencia) and from the white grape Encruzado.
