Details
The Companhia das Quintas is a co-operative group of wineries that stretches across the country and has many styles of wine all indigenous to Portugal.
This wine is made from Arinto and is alarmingly similar to a Sancerre or Pouilly Fume from the Loire Valley. The nose is perfumed and layered with notes of citrus fruits and minerality.
The palate is crisp and clean and has flavours of green apples, nettles and grass and there is still a coolnes of mineral content that belies the very reasonable price!
