After harvest the grapes were crushed by foot and fermented in temperature-controlled stainless steel "lagares". After fermentation was arrested by the addition of enough grape spirit to raise the alcohol content to 19% the wine was aged in old wooden casks for 5 years prior to bottling. A deep ruby red wine with lots of berry and red fruits on the nose. Rich and sweet on the palate with flavours of dried fruits, red fruits and spice. Nicely balanced with good ripe but firm tannins and excellent acidity. Long and luxurious. Learn More
