Details
Two important traditional grape varieties from Romagna are used to produce Nespolino. What makes it a unique wine are the modern interpretation given by the winemaker Scipione Giuliani and the way it is able to express its territory of origin. 70% Sangiovese & 30% Merlot in perfect harmony.
Poderi dal Nespoli was established in 1929 by the Ravaioli family, more specifically by Attilio, who continued his father’s wine merchant business and also invested in the first plot of land: the company has been strongly developed throughout the post-war period and now Attilio’s offspring, Fabio and Celita, are respectively the third and fourth Ravaioli generation to own and manage the farm.
The courage and enterprising spirit which characterised the work of the Ravaioli family over the past few decades has enabled Poderi dal Nespoli to become one of the best producers of Sangiovese in Central Italy.
