€22.95This cuvee was known as cuvee "Le Prestige" until the 2005 vintage. From now on, Pascal Verhaeghe simply calls this wine "Chateau du Cedre". 90% Malbec, 10% Tannat matured in oak barrels. Powerful and intense nose of black prune, liquorice and smoke. Full-bodied, thickly-textured but finely crafted and showing and impressive freshness this amazing Cahors has delicious, fleshy black fruit, woodland and gamey character. Fine, ripe tannins.
