  1. Il Campitello Chianti Classico Riserva 2009

Il Campitello Chianti Classico Riserva 2009

The Chianti Classico RISERVA is produced only from the best harvests, by selecting 90% Sangiovese grapes, 8% Canaiolo and 2% Colorino, from the most ancient vineyards which are about 30—35 years old, with a very low yield. Campitello has a ruby colour almost burgundy and on the nose it has a ripe red fruits and black bilberry scents, its taste is balsamic, rich, with a smooth and deep flavour of mint. It is not influenced by the oenological process and has a long lasting spicy taste. Learn More

Medium dark color, with a rich earthy character with faint notes of sou-bois. Good length and ripe and polished phenolic notes. This has the characteristic notes of a good Pommard: Length, silkiness and cherry notes. Located next to Comte Armand's Clos des Epineaux, this 7 hectare monopole is one of the best sites in the village. It is not made in a super-rich style, but the length and very elegant cherry notes promise the quality to come with a bit more bottle age. Learn More
  6. Felton Road Bannockburn Pinot Noir 2010

Felton Road Bannockburn Pinot Noir 2010

    €50.95

Deep garnet with purple hints. A rather brooding nose of ripe raspberry countered with earth, toast and dark perfume... maybe deep red rose petals. The palate displays a plush, cushioned silkiness, with an interplay of juicy, mouthwatering acid and ripe, rich raspberry and boysenberry fruit, offset with dusty bramble leaf. The finish is long and relatively complex for such a youthful wine, displaying minerals with dusty tannin and a kick of mocha. Learn More

  9. Domaine de Trevallon Red 2004

    Domaine de Trevallon Red 2004

    €64.95

From Domaine de Trevallon comes one of the greatest and most unique wines of France. A blend of Cabernet Sauvignon and Syrah, this wine balances unbridled richness with power and length. The red wine is a blend of 50% cabernet sauvignon and 50% syrah harvested and vinified separately. Fermentation takes place in small-sized stainless steel vats and in wood, which is used to carry out the "pigeage" or punching the cap with feet. Vatting lasts 2 to 3 weeks without temperature control and without yeasting. The wine is then aged for two years in small oak barrels. 2004 shows a return to a more classic vintage for Trévallon's red. Clean, delineated structure resulting from perfectly ripe stems provides ample ripe tannin levels to back up the intense fruit. This is a wine for the ages that will reward cellaring at least 7-10 years. Notes of tobacco, cigar box and bright cherry fruit in the nose followed by a wine with great depth, length and complexity. 10. Domaine Denis Mortet Gevrey-Chambertin Vieilles Vignes 2007

Domaine Denis Mortet Gevrey-Chambertin Vieilles Vignes 2007

    €75.95

Chief climate: La Combe du Dessus “Combe” means round or arched. This name goes well with the relief of this climate formed by gentle slopes situated on both sides of the road climbing up to La Combe Lavaux. It is in fact La Combe Lavaux’s alluvial cone. The proximity of La Combe Lavaux has brought about its chiselled and fresh side. The austerity of its structure is perfectly counterbalanced by its deeply coloured matter. Strong and fruity, this wine always remains elegant. Learn More
