€139.95Medium dark color, with a rich earthy character with faint notes of sou-bois. Good length and ripe and polished phenolic notes. This has the characteristic notes of a good Pommard: Length, silkiness and cherry notes. Located next to Comte Armand's Clos des Epineaux, this 7 hectare monopole is one of the best sites in the village. It is not made in a super-rich style, but the length and very elegant cherry notes promise the quality to come with a bit more bottle age. Learn More -

€696.00Decanter Wine of the Year 2010 made by Pierre Vincent, 2010 Winemaker of the Year. The intense and reserved nose of subtle wood spice combines with red pinot and black currant notes plus almost pungent warm earth nuances that continue onto the big, robust and sleekly muscled full-bodied flavours that are linear and more obviously structured on the cool, fine and pure finish. La Vougeraie's Bonnes-Mares is a really lovely combination of power with a certain amount of finesse but don't let the elegance fool you as ample patience will be required.
