Aynard & Isabelle Clermont-Tonnerre run this beautiful estate on the west bank of the Cher river, nestled between two forests, Amboise & St. Aignan. All of their 21ha of vineyard are farmed using organic viticulture. 'Le Gravelot' is made from 100% Chenin from 12 year old vines, fermented in barrel and then transferred to bottle for 6 months before release. The nose is elegant. To the palate, the wine give complex of matured fruits. Very good length vanilla taste. Can be kept another 10 years. A mere 4000 bottles are produced annually, so snap this bargain up whilst we still have stock!
