Casa Emma Chianti Classico 2010
€20.95Out of stock
Deliciously concentrated with notes of cherry and ripe currants, this has a medium intense nose that develops very smoothly into a velvet-textured palate.
There is a refreshing bitter-sweetness at the back of the tongue, which allows for an amazing ability to be paired with loads of food types as well as for enjoyment on its own. This is really well-made and has great style and elegance for which you would normally have to pay a good deal more. Learn More -
Casa Emma Vinsanto 2001
€29.95Out of stock
This is not your average Vinsanto - it's a brilliant dessert wine from our friends and colleagues in Casa Emma! Learn More -
Casa Emma Chianti Classico Riserva 2007
€30.95Out of stock
This shows the benefit of legal restrictions on the use of certain words in wine – Riserva here means an enormously important change occurs in the wine. It is more concentrated, tannic and restrained than the non-Riserva and as a result holds up to heavier food dishes and can even benefit from decanting and cellaring.
The palate and nose show flavours of mocha and cedar wood, which are backed up by intense black and Morello cherries. Learn More -
Casa Emma "Soloio" IGT 2007
€49.95Out of stock
This was the first wine in Tuscany to be made only from Merlot, hence its name, which means ‘only me’. This isn’t a big super-Tuscan with massive vanilla and oak flavours, rather it is a wine from Tuscany that tastes like a wine from Tuscany!
A very small quantity of mature Merlot vines give a wine that is ripe and deep on the nose, with notes of bramble and plum, which are met by dried leaf and earthiness. These flavours continue to the palate, which is round and smooth yet still maintains the expected bitter-sweet characteristics so important to Tuscan classics. Learn More -
